Speaking Gig - Forge Forward 2007

Bit O’ Trivia: I attended FtM meetings with michael munson, the founder of what is now known as FORGE. I recall a contest to name the group. As I recall I did _not_ choose FORGE (For Ourselves Redefining Gender Expression). Something with Man in the title probably tickled my fancy.
Oh, and all of this happened in 1996-1997. Real ancient history in transsexual FtM communities.

Houston has an FtM group with a acronym/name I think is pretty good: STAG = Some Transgenders Are Guys.
