Different Lenses, Different Views
4.05.2006My political agenda has been mentioned at Sixteen Volts and Sufficent Scruples. Sixteen Volts is decidedly anti-feminist. Sufficient Scruples is not and does an excellent job describing why the Benjamin Standards might be offensive to transsexuals.
The fact that I can be quoted on two blogs with very different political views rocks!
From Sixteen Volts:
But of course they could be a lot worse, which they might realize if they ever bothered to actually ask those illegal immigrants what they think of women’s rights, gay rights, transsexual rights etc.
Speaking of trannies and their political agenda, I noticed that even some feminists are growing tired of them. Having seen a few episodes of the current season of The Surreal Life, I am not that surprised. At least there is a chance of hilarious infighting between the gang that wants to make bathrooms unisex and the more mainstream women.
From Sufficient Scruples:
Jay Sennet posts his “Trans[sexual] Political Agenda” - a cri du coeur on the subject of outsiders’ cluelessness about the lives of those with non-normative gender status or identity.
He do like to stir shit up.
