ust wanted to let alla y’all know that i have my first actual gallery show coming up on friday, june 2. i’ll be the featured photographer for the june first friday art walk here in richmond. it starts around 8-ish and goes till 11 or so. i’ll be showing at 4West Gallery, located at (ready for this?) 4 west broad st.
T. Joe Murray’s film Almost Myself will be debuting at the NEWFEST in NYC June 15.
ALMOST MYSELF’s big screen premiere is scheduled for Sunday, June 11th, at 5:45 PM. The NEWFEST screenings take place at the Loews Cineplex on 34th Street near 8th Ave. in New York. It’s not far from Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. I’m planning to attend. Tickets and more info will be available on the NEWFEST site probably by the end of the week.I’m planning on having DVD copies available for sale later this summer. Any help to publicize the event and get a good turn out for a film dealing with trans issues is appreciated.
