Simple is the Best Way to Get Things Done
September 25, 2007 – 4:39 pmAs I have been trying to stay on top of my Getting Things Done habits, I’ve come to the conclusion that I make extra work for myself by:
- Letting piddly stuff pile up, rather than executing the 2 minute or less tasks ASAP.
- Not saying No.
- Understanding that just as I can clutter my life with stuff to prove how worthy I am, I can clutter my to-do lists with projects to show how important I am.
The easiest and best way to manage my to-dos is to have fewer of them and only work on projects that are very rewarding and meaningful for me.
Simplicity is a mind set.
