Love 2.0

If you are “always on” (i.e. completely transparent) you will exist always in a state of Grace or complete vulnerability. In this way, no one can harm you. Thanks for the inspiration. The cartoon reads: “There are no rules that say you have to follow the rules.”

What a provocative thought Jay. Funny, I’ve been thinking about love and vulnerability lately. About being open or being protective of my heart. I’ve been hurt recently, pretty deeply, but someone who is a friend and, well, your post is making me re-think how I’m dealing. Thank you.
By the by, your pic on your blog is so totally, wickedly cool.

Thanks!
I think it is always a challenge to “not” close myself off after any emotional trauma.
Staying open no matter what is the challenge for me right now.

Can I steal this and repost it (with attribution, of course!) over at my place? I REALLY like this thought.

I really like that thought. Both the way the source blog put it, and the way you put it. They’re both… wow. This fits right in with my transsexuality; my call to ministry; my psychotherapy; and my reading about mysticism, Jung, and mythology (not always in the same book). Thanks.
